Import equipment from CSV

Upload a CSV (one item per row). Missing locations referenced in the file will be auto-created. Existing items are not deduplicated by serial number.

CSV columns

name, type, equipment_class, serial_number, size, condition, value, currency, location, status, notes

type must be one of: boat, sail, spar, foil, spare
condition: excellent, good, fair, poor
status: available, checked_out, in_transit, maintenance, retired (default: available)
location name is matched (case-insensitive); unknown names are auto-created
